Hello, hello and happy Friday! I hope you guys had a fantastic week 🙂 Today is an easy nail art kind of day! I decided to just do some basic stamping since I feel like it has been a while since I did something just simple and fun like this. So let’s get into it, shall we? ❤

Nail Art Tutorial – Pink And Gray Floral Half Moon Manicure – Nail Art Stamping

20150715_205728The Nail Art:

Happy Friday everyone! Today I have some pink and gray floral nails for you. I ended up making two variations of this design: 1 plain and simple and 1 with some fun 3d embellishments.

Since I have been making nail tutorial videos I have learned many things: The first thing being that they are not as easy as I assumed they would be lol – they are also very time consuming. Secondly, I understand that many people do not have much nail art supplies or the means of getting them, so it it is much easier for them to follow my tutorials with out all of that crazy stuff :p. At the same time I don’t want to stray away from my typical nail art style (which includes lot’s of embellishments hehe) so to hopefully help with that I thought it would make things a bit easier to include multiple versions.

So here is the second version with the added embellishments. It has been a while since I have used chain; doesn’t it change the style of this design? It added a bit of edge and flare. Which one do you prefer? 🙂

Nail Art Wheel – More Hand-Painted Flowers

20150509_180432Hope you all enjoyed your weekend! 🙂 Didn’t I tell you guys I was going to post more of those freehand floral wheels? Well I hope you aren’t sick of them already haha but if you are – don’t worry because this is the last one….for now :p. I am pretty happy with these, I can certainly see improvement. I focused more on painting roses for this one and I love how the pink one at the bottom left turned out – so gorgeous. Which one is your favorite? 🙂

Nail Art – Gingham And Daisies

The Nail Art:

It’s still picnic season, time to visit the park and roll out that classic gingham print blanket, light up the grill and gaze at the beautiful flowers! Why not add a bit extra flare with some coordinating nails? 🙂 I was actually inspired by a fashion photograph I came upon on instagram a while back. I can’t remember who it was by, as I just happened to scroll past and I didn’t save it (it wasn’t until now that I even thought about it again). It was of a girl wearing a red gingham dress holding a bouquet of yellow daisies and I thought they complimented each other nicely so I based today’s design off of that pairing. 🙂

(if you happen to know what photo I am talking about please let me know!)

I applied 2 coats of a white base using Sinful Colors Snow me White and then I stamped on a red gingham pattern using Kleancolor Bite Me and Mash image plate 50. Next, I used some yellow acrylic paint and a nail art brush to paint on some little daisies in random spots. I added a white dot to the center of each flower and sealed in the design with a layer of Wet n Wild Matte Top Coat to complete this picnic styled look.

Nail Art Stamping – Perched

20150514_160521aWhat is a bird without a tree to nest in? Some may say it is nothing, but a bird can still be perched upon a weakened branch with confidence knowing it has wings. DSC_0170a

I believe this is the first nail design I have made that incorporates a bird, so I thought the little poetic intro would be a fun touch. I was actually inspired by a small gift box for this design (pictured above – it’s funny that it is better quality than the pics of my nail design haha). I did add my own touch to it by adding some copper striping tape (just a little pop of color nothing too drastic) which brought this design to a different level, but I like how it all came together. 🙂20150514_160742aHow-To:

I started by applying 2 coats of SinfulColors Snow Me White and then with Kleancolor Black I stamped on a floral design from Cheeky Jumbo plate 10 – Happy Nails- onto 3 of the nails.

For the accent nail I stamped on the little bird image from Mash plate 30. After that dried, I placed a piece of tape around the center of my nails to create a space for a french manicure design which I filled in with more black.

I placed a piece of copper striping tape to add some color and to cover the raw edges and finished the look by applying a layer of Wet n Wild Matte Top Coat.

I hope you enjoy this look! 🙂
