Simple Easter Nail Art – Colorful Chevrons

20150331_030401Happy Easter! I hope you guys have a fun filled weekend! I am actually doing something kind of different for Easter tomorrow. I am doing a zombie apocalypse run shoot out thing. lol I am not sure what to call it, all I know is I get to run around and “shoot” some zombies, so that should be cool!
Aw dang I should have done some zombie Easter nails, that also would have been cool! lol Eh, guess we will just have to settle for these simple colorful nails instead! :p

Since Easter sneaked up on me like a brain hungry zombie (Ha), this kind of ended up being a last minute design. It is also super simplified because after using 8 different nail polishes, I kind of had enough of it lol. I was going to add some Easter egg stamp decals as well but it just started being way too much for my eyes to handle…So I left it like this and hey it still works! Plus it was quick and is super colorful. 🙂 Here is the long list of nail polish I used to create this look:

Colors used:

Sinful Colors – Song Of Summer

Sinful Shine – Spitfire

Salon Perfect – Baby Blues

Kleancolor – Pastel Yellow

Sinful Colors – Hey, You!

Kleancolor – Lavenbaby

YH Beja Cosmetics – Color 58

Sinful Shine – Bananappeal

Seche Vite – Top Coat

Colors used:

NYC – Pink Promenade

Sally Hansen – Lick-O-Rich

Seche Vite – Top Coat

False Nail Set – Box Of Chocolates

20140824_142952 20140824_143012Mmm…Who doesn’t love chocolate? One of my favorite parts about Valentine’s day is all of the boxes of chocolate! Now you can eat your chocolate and wear it too! Oh that’s not the saying.. but come on wouldn’t these make such a cute gift for a chocolate lover? They would be perfect for Valentine’s day or just any other time someone wants to feel extra sweet. The best part about these chocolate nails, since they are fake, is that you don’t have to worry about any extra calories. But of course I would advise against eating them, they might look like chocolate but they certainly won’t taste like it. Seriously though. Don’t eat them. lol

These nails can be found here or here.

Valentine’s Day Nail Art – Love

Hello! Here is another Valentine’s design for you :). I started off with a base of Milani Juno, a frilly and slightly shimmered pink. I then stamped over that with SinfulShine VIP using the hearts from Bundle Monster plate 317. With Kleancolor Black I stamped the love letters from Bundle Monster plate 426, skipping the ‘O’, and used the heart image from Bundle Monster plate H16 (in place of the O) which I then filled in with more VIP. I completed the look by applying a layer of Seche Vite top coat. Simply cute. ❤

Colors used:

Milani – Juno

SinfulShine – VIP

Kleancolor – Black

Seche Vite – Top

Valentine’s Day Nail Art – Two Hearts

20150207_125933Shop | Facebook | Etsy | Instagram | Tumblr

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven’t been very social these last couple posts. I was really struck for time on those days, but I am back today and I bring you some love ;). This week is going to be all about Valentine’s Day nail art. It’s not my favorite holiday but it allows for the excuse to do some cute designs.

Over on Instagram, Bundle Monster is hosting a little Valentine’s Day giveaway for their brand new “Buffet” styled plate set. I decided to enter it this week; it’s random winners so I am going to enter 3 or 4 designs (if I have the time). So look out for those! In the meantime this is my first “entry”.

I started out with a base of Revlon Bare Bones (my favorite nude and I am almost out!) then stamped over it using Wet n Wild A Show At The Palladium (my favorite gold and it is almost out too, I don’t even think they make this color anymore either!) with a swirly image from Bundle Monster plate 406.

Next I used Kleancolor Black to stamp on the hearts and swirly designs from plates H16 and 318. I then filled in the middle hearts with Nicole by OPI Deeply In Love (how fitting) and topped off the design with a layer of Seche Vite Top Coat. Even though this look is complete I still feel like it is missing something, but I don’t know what… lol

Colors used:

Revlon Colorstay – Bare Bones

Wet n Wild – A Show At The Palladium

Kleancolor – Black

Nicole by OPI – Deeply In Love
