Nail Art Stamping – Blue Damask – Matte Nails

20150415_182334Hello and happy Friday! The weekend is almost here, yet again.. Oh how time flies. It is crazy to think that today will just be another memory tomorrow. Then again life is really just a collection of memories and dreams when you think about it. Enough philosophy though, on to the nail art! lol Today’s design is kind of a revamped version of my Pink Damask design; they are similar yet different all at the same time.

20150415_182504I started with a base of Salon Perfect Baby Blues and stamped over that with Revlon Colorstay Indigo Nights – I always have such luck when stamping with these polishes, they are great!- I used the damask print from image plate QA90.

Next I decided to do a basic french tip using a coordinating blue from Sinful Shine called Break Away (Which is another brand I have good luck stamping with – very rich colors).

I then lined the raw edges with some silver striping tape and added a few triangle studs to make an edgy bow. I finished the look by applying a matte top coat. 🙂

This look is like the more “boyish” version (for lack of a better word) whereas the pink one is much more feminine. They complete each other 😛

Colors used:

Salon Perfect – Baby Blues

Revlon Colorstay – Indigo Nights

SinfulShine – Break Away

Wet n Wild Matte Top Coat
